Employability Coordinator
Location: Campbeltown, On-site
Salary: £29,500 - £34,000
Contract Type: 35 Hours, Permanent
Main Objectives of the Position
To provide leadership for the implementation and delivery of effective Employability programmes for Inspiralba. To ensure compliance with the terms of the contracts, including Argyll and Bute Council and Scottish Government operational procedures. To co-ordinate the delivery of Employability activity, working effectively with other team members, delivery partners, employers, employees, and support organisations to ensure programmes are delivered to the highest possible quality resulting in positive outcomes for employed trainees and employing social enterprises.
Duties and Responsibilities
To work directly with customers / clients to develop and support opportunities to increase employability skills.
To ensure customer / client support needs are identified and addressed, bringing in appropriate partners as required.
To work directly with employability delivery partners to manage client activity support.
To monitor programme delivery and gather feedback / evaluation from clients and partners to continuously improve delivery.
To ensure the delivery of programmes takes account of the guidance, procedures, financial and administration requirements in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
To provide information for data return, reporting and finance claims.
To co-ordinate delivery partner meetings.
To monitor delivery in relation to guidance, procedures, funding support and report to Manager and support team on a regular basis.
To promote the programme to partner agencies and potential clients.
To assist with supporting effective communication, ensuring targets are met and providing continuous monitoring and development support to ensure quality service delivery.
To develop and maintain good relationships with the range of partners and clients.
To carry out other such duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time by your line manager
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in working with people with a non-judgemental approach
Experience of employability programmes
Experience in working with different partners
Experience in administration and financial monitoring
Understanding of barriers to employment/progression and strategies to overcome these barriers
Understanding of equality and diversity issues
Experience in administration and IT
Experience of programme/project coordination
Supervisory experience.
